San Jose, CA - Today, most people accept the fact that robots are increasingly a part of our everyday lives; but not our President, the Donald. Trump is issuing a ban on robots because they take away work from humans.

The President's plan will begin with changing the image of robots in our society. No more loveable dorky C-3POs or adorable chirpy R2-D2s. Hollywood producers have been issued an ultimatum. Either portray robots as malevolent beings poised to take over the world or Darth Bannon will descend on L.A. wielding a hammer and a wrench. "Robots," said Trump, "will be purged faster than my White House staffer's phones."

The first victim of the ban will be the iRobot Roomba vacuum cleaner. Press secretary, Sean Spicer, told reporters, "Getting rid of Roombas will create millions of great jobs for woman in the housekeeping industry. Women of Hispanic descent, as long as they are legal, will be especially happy because they love working as maids. And the failing broom and dustpan industries will also get a boost."

When the Lost in Space robot heard about the ban, he was heard to say, "Danger, Will Robinson. Danger. A crazy orange alien has invaded our planet."
