Trump opts for a Double-D.
By: Hans SmalleyWashington, D.C. - American presidents have a tradition of honoring historical male figures by keeping busts, small statues, and pictures and paintings in the Oval Office. Figurines, busts and pictures of Abraham Lincoln, Winston Churchill, Thomas Jefferson and Benjamin Franklin are some examples of the displays in the Oval Office. Obama added a bust of Martin Luther King Jr. Before him, George W. Bush had a bust of Winston Churchill.
When asked what bust he wanted in the Oval Office, Trump responded, “I’ll take a Double-D.” When the Secretary of Interior Decorating explained to Trump that a bust is basically just a statue of person’s head, he responded, “Why would I want to see some guy’s head? Just boobs is fine. A bust of Double-D boobs will do just fine.” Ironically, this is the first time that a female bust will be represented in the Oval Office.
This latest move by Trump is the last straw for many feminists. Many are getting in their cars headed north for the border and have slapped on their “Canada or Bust” bumper stickers.
