Everything he touches turns to mold.

Today a similar story is emerging about Ronald, an evil king who turns everything he touches to mold; the slime mold of corruption.
King Ronald is a liar and those near him become liars too. His children lie. His aides lie and many in the government lie. People who were once honest and honorable now lie after being touched by the king.
Enriching one's self at the expense of others is normal in Ronald's kingdom. The king takes advantage of his position to fill his coffers even though he is breaking the law. Laws do not apply to him. His minions have come to do the same. They give lucrative government contracts to their relatives, travel first class on taxpayer's dime, and neglect to report conflicts of interest.
The examples of growing corruption are multiplying like mold on yesterday's cheeseburger bun. Midas saw the light when he realized that he could not eat his breakfast because it had turned to gold. Will King Ronald think twice when his Happy Meal turns slimy green?
